All of our products undergo strict testing. They’re free of lead, cadmium, and other heavy metals and are compliant to LFGB, FDA.

All Hosen products are durably crafted for everyday use and are completely dishwasher safe. Hosen ceramics are microwave safe and even oven safe up to 450℉.

While all semi-matte ceramics are susceptible to superficial marks from your flatware, they can be easily taken off with a good scrubber and a scouring compound. If you notice marks on your ceramics, you can try to use lemon juice and baking soda. After a soapy rinse, your dishes should be good as new.

Our ceramics are made of different materials, some are made of stoneware, which has unique characteristics. The clay contains naturally occurring flecks that occasionally come to the surface during the firing process. In some cases, these dots may show through lighter glazes, this cannot be completely avoided. At Hosen, we embrace these slight variations—they’re what make our hand-finished ceramics one of a kind.

For factory existing models, a free sample can be provided within 3 days after receiving your free sample application, but freight is negotiable, some potential projects, we’d like to offer for FREE.

For customized models, the sample cost and sample time depend on the actual condition.

It depends on the quantity, if a small quantity, the shipping cost will be higher, while if for a full container, we can get a better shipping rate.
